Compliance

1. Is my information private?
   Yes, Investable operates a strict privacy policy which governs all elements of the service. For further information please view our formal Privacy Policy using the link at the bottom of our website.
   
   Individual Users can also control the level of privacy for their accounts in the Account Preferences area of the site.
2. If I elect to contribute to Investable databases on an anonymous basis, who has access to this information?
   All Investment Idea information submitted by Users is retained by Investable and is not sold, leased or licensed to any other 3rd party. This information is aggregated only on an anonymous basis, to ensure that individual identities remain private. Furthermore Investable will never aggregate and/or publish any qualitative comments from a User (i.e. your individual comments about any individual Investment Idea will never be published or distributed in any form). The only fields from the Investment Idea template that are aggregated are security name and recommendation type.
3. What does Investable do with the information I elect to supply to the Investable databases?
   The information supplied by Users to Investable databases is aggregated and then published in report form, for the benefit of all Investable Users. These metrics allow other Users to easily access the aggregate views across the service.
4. What is the Compliance Disclaimer feature of the Investable service?
   To allow users to comply with the additional legal and compliance requirements of either their employers or operating jurisdiction, an individually customized Compliance Disclaimer can be attached to all Investment Ideas or Site Posts. Users can edit or amend their compliance disclaimers within the Account Preferences section of the site. The current disclaimer information is then automatically added to any new Investment Idea, Investment Idea Update or Network Post. In addition as a value added service to members a default disclaimer is initially populated in the disclaimer box for each new registration (simply edit, delete or write over this text as required).
5. What is the Compliance Tracker feature of the Investable service?
   For employers seeking to monitor the activity of their employees on the Investable service, a Compliance Tracker account can be requested. This is a read only account which allows the employer to track the Investable site activity of all registered users that have disclosed a specific employer’s name.
6. How can I get my employer comfortable with me using the Investable service?
   Investable has a number of inbuilt features to give users and their employers comfort in the use of the service. This includes identity verification for all users, compliance disclaimers that can be customized to the individual users requirements and compliance tracking features.
7. Should I witness a potential compliance breach what action can be taken?
   If you believe that another users actions are a potential compliance violation, then this activity should be reported to Investable using the email support@investable.com. Any such reports will also be kept in the strictest confidence.
8. Can I keep my account information completely private from other users or visitors to the service?
   Yes, simply select No for all permission display settings and your account information will be kept completely confidential from all other users or visitors to the service. Please however remember to remove your company’s name from your account, otherwise your employer will still be able to conduct monitoring of your account.
